Our Vision
To inform the community about the remarkable life changing events which are happening in our area amongst its citizens and to bring a message of hope and positive thinking. We will be the radio station which seeks to serve as a tool of the Christian Community of believers and churches in our area in sharing a message of Christianity, Faith, Hope and Love.

To develop the natural talents of our community physical, psychological, spiritual, technical and commercial and to create healthy circumstance for them to fulfill and experience their potential
Our Story
During the year 2012, we looked for ways to communicate the gospel message to the Southern Cape area; many persons who were unable to attend regular worship services for various reasons due to age and disability. The goal is to offer excellence and sustainable Christian programming content that serves and promote the interests of communities. As a first step, we decided to explore any available frequency from ICASA. A full process started in 2013 with community meetings and compiling of a business plan for the radio station. During September 2013 the good news was received from ICASA which granted Heartbeat FM a Five year Permanent Christian Radio License.
On 29 May 2014, Heartbeat 103.9 FM hit the airways from our George studio using Christian based programs that have been successfully introduce to the Community in the Southern Cape. In 2018 we launched our Klein Karoo frequency, 107.4 FM. From our Oudtshoorn studio we broadcast to the Greater Oudtshoorn and Kannaland Municipal areas. Combined, these two frequencies sets Heartbeat FMs listernership to more then 170 000 making it one of the largest Christian Community Radio Stations in South Africa. The station broadcast 60% Afrikaans, 20% English and 20% isiXhosa. It has programming to provide a platform for community discussions, debates and community-building and public interactions.

The Heartbeat FM Gideon Project
In order to achieve the goals that we believe the Lord is placing before us, we hope to raise up partners who will financially support the Heartbeat FM Gideon Project to raise some funds to cover our Transmission cost.
